Goni Ketain-Meiri is a licensed clinical social worker with Master’s degrees from the Hebrew University and McGill University. She is certified to practice in Ontario.
Goni has experience working with adolescents and women dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addictions. She also supports Israeli and Jewish clients navigating immigration to Canada and coping with the impact of the war in Israel. Her therapeutic approach integrates CBT, DBT, somatic therapy, and phototherapy to promote healing and personal growth.

Personal Journey
Goni has gained experience at organizations such as “Ometz” (Jewish Family Services) in Montreal, NA'AM for women affected by violence, the Israel Prisoner Rehabilitation Authority, and various youth-at-risk programs.
With a background in art, she is experienced in facilitating therapeutic groups using photography and visual arts as tools for expression, emotional processing, and healing.
She has seven years of experience working with adolescents and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, OCD, trauma, addictions, identity crises, relationship challenges, and immigration. Goni has particular expertise in working with the LGBTQ+ community, individuals leaving ultra-Orthodox communities, and Israelis coping with transitions and the impact of the war in Israel.
