Meytal Levy-Matalon is a licensed social worker (RSW) and psychotherapist with professional credentials in both Canada and Israel. With over 8 years of experience in psychotherapy, she specializes in helping individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, OCD, grief and loss, trauma, and complex trauma, including childhood sexual trauma, combat-related PTSD, and moral injury.
Her extensive background includes working with the Rehabilitation Department of the Israeli Ministry of Defense and serving as a mental health officer following the events of October 7th, providing her with a profound understanding of the unique challenges faced by security and rescue personnel. Meytal offers personalized therapy to address the long-term emotional and psychological effects of service in these demanding roles.
Additionally, she is skilled in supporting individuals dealing with interpersonal and relationship difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, and navigating narcissistic relationships within families or partnerships.

Personal Journey
Meytal’s genuine interest in human complexity, combined with her personal history, inspired her to pursue a career in helping others. Her diverse experience in settings such as hospitals, mental health departments, and private clinics has enabled her to successfully support hundreds of clients on their journey to better mental health and effective coping strategies.
In addition to her clinical work, Meytal volunteered to provide mental health support before and after the tragic events of October 7th in Israel, offering essential care during a time of profound national trauma. This experience further deepened her commitment to helping individuals in crisis and addressing the emotional consequences of significant traumatic events.
