Jessica Zylberlicht (MA, RP)
Registered Psychotherapist
Jessica is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, and a Master of Education in Developmental Psychology from the University of Toronto. Her areas of focus include mood and anxiety disorders, trauma and stress-related conditions, and specific phobias. She also has experience in supporting clients who present with emotion regulation difficulties, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and learning disabilities. Throughout her career, Jessica has worked with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including those recovering from motor vehicle accidents and those who have experienced extreme trauma. These experiences have given her a nuanced understanding of trauma’s complexity and strengthened her commitment to helping clients reclaim a sense of safety and well-being.
Therapeutic Approach and Philosophy
Jessica supports individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, with a strong foundation in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Jessica uses a compassionate, collaborative approach with clients to help them achieve their goals. She works alongside her clients in a supportive and flexible way, helping them build insight, learn new tools, and make meaningful changes at a pace that feels right for them. Her goal is to create a space where clients feel validated and supported in their unique lived experiences.
